Excellent resource for teaching

I am teaching in an elective about the use of drug in sports. When trying to find information, especially information regarding the extent of the use of drugs in athletes I found that there were few good books written on the subject, and the ones that were available tended to be strong in the area of ethics and opinion, but fairly weak in the area of the scientific fact. Since I am teaching pharmacy students, the collection in one book of pharmacological information about the specific drugs and drug classes that are often used to induce a competitive edge is really helpful.

This is an outstanding book! This book introduces you to all the performance enhancing drugs used in sports as well as methods used by WADA to test for them. They get very in depth in drug profiles and typical usage by athletes.
